I have counseled struggling families, children in orphanages, juveniles that are incarcerated, served the mentally ill, and inmates in our prison system for over 30 years. It has been a privilege to work with such diverse groups of people in the short years I have been on this earth. My hope is that I can be a tool to be used to advance the Kingdom of God.
My personal experience in this profession has me greatly concerned for God’s people. Families are under attack like never before and are allowing themselves to get so busy with the cares of life that they neglect what is most important. I have found there is a gap in Biblical counseling. Well meaning pastors typically do not have the time or resources to counsel their flock. Likewise, mental health counselors are not typically given the liberty to address the needs of God’s body. There needs to be a safe place for families that desire God’s best for marriage and family. My desire to bridge this gap is where Hope for the Home was birthed. Natalie and I purpose to come alongside your family, and provide that safe place for encouragement, and spiritual growth.
