Sunday morning
Sunday dinner around the table is one of my most treasured times with family.  We have good food and good conversation.  We find strength in one another’s encouragement.  Most importantly, we purpose to dwell on things that are lovely.

It is natural for man to be frustrated or living in anxiousness about the state of the world we live in and bring this negativity to our conversations.  But God tells us in Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

As we start a new week with family and friends, let us dwell on what is truthful, having edifying conversations, giving good reports of others, and to remember all of these lovely things are for our spiritual nourishment.

Have a beautiful rest of your day my friends. It’s going to be a wonderful week living in purpose.
