Today, I want to share 3 of my favorite life verses for marriage with you. The Bible is full of hope and wisdom that we can glean from and life verses have been something that has carried me when I needed a Word.
When I first started writing scripture on note cards, the life verses that God placed on my heart were life changing. These verses are still the same ones that continue to resonate in my heart. They give me peace, strength, and contentment because there is something very personal about the words God gives you. I can’t help but be full of joy because of who God is and what He has saved me from.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are always better than one. But with God on your side, your marriage is even stronger.
1 Peter 4:8
We all fail one another but love covers a multitude of sins. When we love each other deeply, we reflect God’s deepest love for us. As we extend that love to our spouse, it is healing and softening to our hearts.
And my favorite-
Ephesians 4:2-3
When we come to our spouse in humility, gentleness, and selflessness, we keep our marriage steady and at peace.
There are several more that are more familiar to some of you such as: Mark 10:9 and Jeremiah 29:11. Whatever life verse God puts upon your heart, let it be the light that never goes out.
Today, I pray that the wives who read this will be encouraged and their spirits lifted. My hope is that these scriptures will strengthen these ladies in their relationship with their husband.
God’s Word has been the foundation of our marriage and we cling to the hope of Christ every day. God’s word literally is a lamp to our feet and a light to our paths. Be blessed today friends.
