Leading comes naturally to little boys.  They are hardwired for leadership.

We had to make a quick run to our local hardware store this morning.  I had all of the kids in tow eagerly anticipating our next homesteading project.

Jason was in one isle grabbing what he needed while I kept the kids walking from isle to isle filling their little minds with creative ideas.

As Jason was finishing up his end, I told the kids we would head back to where daddy was so we could check out.

As I was following behind, I heard my son say to his little sister, “We need to look at the numbers on each sign to find daddy.  He’s in row twenty-one, so hold my hand and I’ll take you there.”

I couldn’t help but smile.

Problem solving makes us better leaders and working as a team to find what you’re looking for is the goal.

Mothers, keep training those young boys.  Even though they were born for leadership, they still need you to guide, shape, and teach them why it’s important for good men to lead well.
