If we are women who respect the position our husband holds in our family, who appreciates who he is as a man, who is willing to walk shoulder to shoulder with him, and have the kind of faith that is unwavering, then we need to cover our husband in prayer daily.
It doesn’t always have to look like a 5 a.m. on your knees for an hour kind of prayer (although that is a very good idea!) It can be praying without ceasing throughout our day while we iron his shirt, or as we make dinner.
It is amazing how God can change hearts, a turn of events happens, or a humbling of some sort.
Your husband needs you to be covering him daily in your prayer life. He provides for your family and He protects you when life gets ugly. I believe God gives wives a special gift. We can go before a Holy God that knows what our husband’s needs are more than we do. And when we humble ourselves out of love and devotion, God honors our prayers.
Some things are worth fighting for and some things are worth getting right. Make this one of them!
