On November 11, 1620, the Pilgrims came ashore on land that is now Provincetown on the end of Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

We took the 3 1/2 mile one way walk along the entire beach around the tip of the Cape to see this beautiful lighthouse that stands to represent so much of our country’s history.

We feel very blessed to take a second honeymoon to so many places we’ve only read about with our children.  We take none of this for granted and are soaking up the time given to us.

Natalie’s lineage can be traced back to the original Pilgrims of 1620 that landed on the tip of the Cape.

This trip is something she has always wanted to do and I am happy to just be a small part of it.  This picture on the Atlantic is Corn Hill Beach and this long stretch of sand reaches all the way around Cape Cod.

It is beautiful, it’s humbling, and it’s been refreshing to spend some meaningful moments remembering our heritage.  We are grateful for those who came before us to sacrifice everything they owned to come to unknown territory to be free, raise their families in peace, and to praise a Living God who reigns.  I am more than grateful to be here.

Soli Deo Gloria
