This whipped lotion recipe is from my rendered beef fat.  If you do not have this on hand, you can check with your local butcher, or your local farmer.

My go-to recipe that I’ve used for nearly 25 years is:

1 c. purified tallow

1/4 c. your preferred oil (I like avocado or coconut)

Melt the ingredients in a sauce pan. Pour into a mixing bowl and allow to cool before adding preferred essential oils.  Today, I left mine without.

Place in the refrigerator to harden.  When the oils are soft to the touch but cooled (as you can see in this short video) it’s ready to whip with a hand mixer.  This takes less than 5 minutes.

Whip on medium to high speed and watch this oil whip into a creamy, whipped butter-like texture.

Place all lotion into a container of your choice for long term storage.  Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

I only make enough for a 3 month supply.  Let me know if you have any questions.  I’d love to help you get started!
