I sat down with her after breakfast and felt like I was on repeat with math… probably because I have been for almost 30 years and it makes me smile when I think of our journey to get here.

She’s our 10th child that has had the same routine as everyone else before her and time has just flown by so fast.

As I sit here helping her memorize her doubles, I want to continue to be self-aware of the things happening around me, and never want my teaching to become so repetitive that it becomes mundane to us both.

I love being their mother.  I enjoy teaching and seeing their eyes light up after they learn a new concept.  And I love learning right alongside them.

Home life will be some of my favorite memories as I grow old.

I love when God gives these little promptings to reflect and ponder on what He has in store for those that I have been blessed to call my children.

Lord, allow me to finish well.

For You are always, only good.

May the wind be at your back and God be with you every step of the way.
