I was raised by two loving parents who were faithful to their small church in my home town.  My older brother and I have watched them flourish in their relationship with each other for over 50 years.  My parents did a fabulous job raising my brother and me.  I always felt secure and loved by them.  My needs were met.  Though I had my share of major disappointments in myself and the church in general, I still never wavered to who God created me to be.

After graduating high school, I went on to a Baptist college where I received my undergraduate degree in psychology.  As I went on to attain my Masters, I became very eager to understand the Bible.

Today I know God is greater than anyone or anything and living for His glory in all things, by His grace, is why we were created.  His ways are always higher than our ways, and He is where I find my joy and strength.  Jesus Christ is my Savior, my Redeemer, and He is The Living God.

I am reminded every day that I have to totally rely on Him for my every need in life.  He has blessed me beyond measure with a loving wife and 11 precious children.  I am humbled every day by the guidance the Lord gives me in raising my family.  He is my provider for all that I need and my protector from evil.

God’s presence in my life has humbled me in many, many ways, and that is why I eagerly study my Bible.  I rely on His help so that I may be prepared for my wife, my children, and the world each day.  Without Him, I am nothing.

I am committed to raising up this next generation for the Lord.  I want to become the father to my children that He is to me.  He sharpens my understanding of Who He is and my direction in life today can not be more clear.  I feel so blessed to share His Good News with anyone and everyone that crosses my path.
