William Booth once said that mothers are an irreplaceable foundation of their home.

What if we raised a generation of children whose minds were filled with divine Truth, whose bodies were poisoned by indulgences, and whose hearts, from their earliest days, have been inspired by the love of Christ?  What if we instill the one supreme ambition to glorify the Father in all we do teaching them how to suit up, learn how to destroy sin, and be a torchbearer for Christ?

Mothers, you are irreplaceable in the home!

Life will become messy at times.  Speak life into them anyway.

Enjoy your children.

Bring the gospel into all aspects of their learning because He chose you to point your children to Christ, no matter what the cost may be.

For there is no greater calling on your life than to touch the lives of the next generation.  Whether that is finding joy in serving your family dinner, staying present in conversation, making memories from the simplest of things, nursing sick little bodies back to health, or shaping their world through reading to them.

They see the world through your eyes.

Mothers are the catalyst in helping their children learn to love and have compassion for others.  So your role that the world wants you to deny, it is crucial.

I encourage you to purpose to create a vision for future generations.  We all want honest, hard-working, generous, self-disciplined children.  No one in their right mind wants to leave a legacy of deceptive, stingy, and self-indulged children.  So if we are to take back what Satan purposes to destroy, let’s be vigilant in all that we say and do.

“Think of the possibility of raising a multitude of men and women whose bodies have never been poisoned by vicious indulgences, whose minds have been enlightened and filled with the principles of Divine truth from their infancy, and whose hearts, from their earliest days, have been inspired with the love of Christ and possessed with the one supreme ambition to glorify the Father, dethrone the devil, destroy sin and save the world!”

– William Booth, founder of The Salvation Army

Here is a little video to inspire all mothers to keep going.

Blessings upon your efforts.  It will never be perfect.  And your children will have their own walk.  But don’t give up in your well doing!  Your story isn’t finished yet!
