In My Frailty

The nights are long and the years are short.”

Every mother can tell you this statement is so very true.  It’s inevitable that life will come to an end, but motherhood lives on forever in the families we raise and the generations to come.

“Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am.”
Psalm 39:4

Praise to Jesus that I know my God will take care of their needs when I no longer can.  What a comfort my Lord’s promises are to me on days like today. 

I am being sentimental, teary-eyed, and grateful.  So it was a good Monday, a pleasant day, and really purposeful in slowing down to hear their ideas, dreams, and goals for the future kind of day.

God’s ways are higher than mine.
