Could He get the job done if a mother dropped the ball and lived for herself? Of course He can. We serve a sovereign Lord. He doesn’t necessarily need us for anything, but He does ask us to be willing to lay aside our selfish desires, our hopes for worldly pleasures, and aspirations of climbing the corporate ladder to accomplish His will for our lives, and our children’s.
When I say you are essential, I mean that you are Divinely created for the specific purpose over the care and training of your babies. For you are essential in their eyes and in God’s.
