Excavation - Hope for the Home

A lot can change in 3 days! And yet, some things never change.

I grew up watching excavation work my entire childhood. So, this week has been very emotional watching a new change happening on our land.

Change is a good thing, but it can also leave you with flooding thoughts filled with tears of sadness, and tears of joy.

They run parallel sometimes.

So many metaphors here.

So many memories.

The man we hired did a wonderful job and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.

We had a downpour the day he finished, so the kids had fun watching the pond fill a little.

To God be the glory great things he has done.

And yes, metaphorical speaking here.

I’m not talking about the pond.
