We go nuts for nut butters at our house!

To make any nut butter, use either a food processor or high powered blender.  Anything that can puree the nuts will do the job.  My favorite nuts to puree are either cashews or almonds.  My kids love peanut butter.  If I make almond butter I always add a dash of cinnamon to it.  It only takes a few minutes to puree the nuts in a food processor and it will soon be nut flour.  Scrape down the sides and puree again for 5+ minutes and you will eventually have creamy nut butter.  Just be patient.  It will be creamy if pureed long enough.  Store in a sealed jar and refrigerate for up to 1 month.  Hope you enjoy!
