I heard somewhere long ago that you are either in the storm, about to enter into one, or coming out of one.  Many people that survive the storms of life are overcoming a lot of grief, hurt, and sadness, still clinging onto the hope that Christ gives us.

We live in a fallen world and a lot of times we come into storms that are not our own doing.  If you are on the other side of that storm, some of the greatest blessings we can extend to others that are hurting is grace, lending a helping hand, and giving our prayers.  Our kindness can go a long way to someone who can’t see past the stormy clouds.

If you are riding the storm out, hold onto the hope that Christ gives us in His word.  The hope that there is a Heaven, the hope that we can bring light into darkness, the hope that we can cast all of our burdens upon Him, the hope that He has the answers, and that He is a good God despite the trials we face.

Grief doesn’t extinguish His faithfulness and our hurts do not hush all hope.  I promise it’s temporary, so hold on until you get to the other side of the story.
