Soli Deo Gloria
I love being a mother, birthing babies, swaddling babies, teaching little ones, helping older ones grow during the challenges they face, learning right alongside them, etc. I absorb it all because I know each time God teaches me something different.
I’m still learning.
What has surprised me the most about coming into a new season of life is that I have really embraced letting go in ways I thought wouldn’t be possible, seeing them blossom into something beautiful and wonderful that brings the most joyful tears to my eyes, and truly enjoy meeting them where they are at today. Each of them completely different, but yet similar in so many other ways.
What began as a special kind of difficult as a young person, has become a self-reflecting journey. This life has been stepping stones of grace and mercy. It’s become a daily walk of trust and forgiveness. And without Christ, I do not know where I would be.
God has been so faithful when I least deserved it. Nothing has been handed to me. And none of this has been a breeze. But that is what makes this journey so beautiful and humbling simultaneously.
